Live life

Okay, it has been way too long and for that I apologize.  I promise to get more up to date.  I’m thinking about just working from this website and not facebook anymore.  Having everyone come here everyday for their Challenges and comments might be the best idea so when I have my morning coffee and do my posts, I only have to go to one site, mytrainerbob.com…..I welcome comments.

So the past month has been CRAZY!!!  I got to go to Washington DC.  We shot a whole episode there and it was so beautiful but very hot and humid.  One day we got to go to the White House and go into Michelle Obama’s vegetable garden and pick veggies to go into the kitchen and make an amazing salad.  That was such a cool thing.  I wish that the Obamas would have been there but I’m sure they were busy…hahaha!!  We also got to speak in front of a couple of Senators and I spoke about the problem with the school lunch programs and how much help is needed there.  I also spoke about fast food restaurant’s responsibilities to show the nutrition facts in the foods that they sell.  It was very cool.  Jillian and I did a big workout in front of the Washington Monument for several hundred people and on my day off I got to go to a couple of museums, The Newseum and The Holocaust Museum.  They both were amazing and I highly recommend you go to both of them the next time you are in DC.  We had a big weigh in at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial which is going to look amazing on TV.

When I finally got back to LA, I had to go right back to work with BL8 and there are going to be some interesting twists this season, get ready!!  What little time I have off, I have been spending it on my motorcycle.  It is so much fun and quite peaceful, if you can believe that, which leads me to what I want to say to you today.  I want you to go out and find something that you really love to do and get involved.  I know so many people that are living on the sidelines of their own lives and I’m trying to encourage people to take charge of their life and one way to do that is to get out of the house, off the sofa, away from the computer and LIVE LIFE!!  I know that we all are so busy and stressed about a million different things but if you begin to find that one something that you look forward to doing, it could get you out of a rut and getting such a better outlook on life.  I want you to find one thing, for me it is riding my motorcycle, and find out just how good you will feel from doing it….I promise, it WORKS!!!
