Thanks for the tip. I’ve never been able to do push ups and am slowly but surely getting better. I love, love, LOVE your DVDs. They are the best ones out there and I am sweating and dead by the end and that includes your Yoga. Thanks again! Marianne

Bob, thank you for showing the proper form. I’m always wondering if I’m doing it right. I have a bad back so I still do them on my knees and they are still hard. But I am getting better and stronger each time. Thanks. Love your whole set, hard as hell but I know I’m really working out!~!!

Dear Bob, I had a question about the elbows. When you are at the lower position, do the elbows go straight out from your body or are you suppose to keep them close to the body or are both ways correct and they just work a different muscle group?

I want asking something…..¿do you think i can doing the exercises in your dvds with 300 pounds?, because i am really interesting in your dvds and lose weight. THANKS

Hey Bob-

How would you recommend pushups when you’ve had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders and quite possibly another in the near future?

Todd July 26, 2010 at 4:51 am

I had the same question about the elbows. It looks like you have them at a 45 degree angle, but I’ve head others say they should be parallel with your body?

This is great. I wanted to work my way up to 100 consecutive push ups but doing things the proper way is important to me. I’m doing intervals and can do 50 and this was a huge help! THANKS!

You make it look so easy! I’m just now able to do “real” pushups, after getting stronger with BL Bootcamp. I feel very accomplished, being able to stop doing them on my knees! Thanks for the motivation!
