Did you get a chance to see Chelsea Lately last night?  The opening of her show was about The Biggest Loser and all the screaming that was going on in the gym.  I love her and think she is hilarious!!  So I got up today and I think because I have been running around with work and traveling so much, I just feel so run down…. I went to the gym this morning and to a spin class and I am spending the rest of the day relaxing, reading my book, “The China Study” and that's about it.  I have been watching The Dr. Oz Show all week and it is so great to have something so informative on daytime television.  It is such a great breath of fresh air and my show will air tomorrow.  Make sure you watch and I will write a blog about it tomorrow.  I tweeted about the great benefits of a product that I always have in my house, Food For Life.  I've been having the english muffin every morning before I go to the gym.  It gives me just the right amount of fuel to really push hard.  I add a little less than a tablespoon to it….SO GOOD!!!  I wanna ask all of you, how are your eating habits going this week?  I have to tell you that I have been feeling GREAT with my eating habits.  I just tweaked a few things but mostly what I have done and reinforced with everyone that I talk to is that I really do eat so many vegetables!!!  I just love them and they are so good for me so PLEASE, eat your veggies.

So I shot a Honda commercial last Friday and it was so cool.  At first I had to do all this running through the canyon and at one point they strapped a camera onto my body which was a little awkward but it is gonna look really cool.  Finally the rest of the day was devoted to driving the hybrid which was a really cool car.  They had attached this major device onto the car with a camera on it to get these really cool shots of me driving the car and then finally it was an evening shot of me on top of Mulholland Drive with the view of downtown LA and me leaning up against the car.  It was a really fun day but I was exhausted.  Saturday was my spin class and Crunch in West Hollywood which I have been doing for years.  I absolutely love teaching that class.  Everyone works so hard.  We get CRAZY in that class.  If you are ever in Los Angeles on a weekend come and take the class.  It is at 10:30am and I will guaranty that you will get worked out!!!  The rest of the weekend was devoted to working out and then hanging out with my goddaughter Coco.  She is the coolest person I have ever met.  She cracks me up and really keeps me in check.  I will post some new pictures of her soon so you all can see her.  She is amazing, smart and hilarious.

Now on to other matters.  I have started putting little simple tips on my facebook page which I will then transition onto mytrainerbob because what I have decided is that people need motivation and that is my job, to keep you motivated so what I want to start doing is just give you a little tip that you can think about as you go through your day and just keep your “head in the game”.  Some tips might work for you and others won't but what is important for you to know is that I'm here for you and I'm thinking about what I can do to get you motivated and keep you motivated.  I want us to work together.  Today's tip was try a group fitness class at your gym today if you have access to a gym.  I love group fitness because I think that “misery loves company” hahaha!!  Seriously, it keeps me going to be in a class where there are other people doing exactly what I'm doing at the time.  Like I mentioned earlier, I love teaching my spin class but I also love taking spin classes.  I like getting in there with really loud music, sweaty dark room and just zone out and be left in a pool of sweat.  It keeps me going.  So try something different this week and try taking that class that you thought you would NEVER do for whatever reason.  If anything you could get a really good laugh and laughter really is the best medicine.

Have a great rest of your day and I will talk soon..

Hey everyone….. I hope you had a good day.  Well I just got back from Detroit MI working, which was great but I gotta tell you that the car industry is really hurting right now there and you can feel it in the air.  This economy has got to turn around and we really do have to trust the process and trust our leaders right now.  It brings me to a very good point that I always talk to my contestant's about on the show, I have a sign in the the gym that says, “Believe in yourself, trust the process, change forever.”  This is a time that we must trust the process.  This holds true with people that want to change their lives for whatever reason, in my industry it is all about health.  So when you decide to make a change and you have 20lbs or 200lbs to lose, what you must do is trust that what you do today will really make a difference in the big picture.  All you can do is think about the day at hand.  Did you make the proper food choices?  Did you make time to exercise?  Are you taking responsibility for your actions?  Are you in control of your life?  Your destiny?  Just put your mind and your efforts into this day and trust the process, knowing that what you are doing WILL make a difference.  I watched The Oprah Show today, LOVE HER!!!!!  Anyway, she was talking about people that were morbidly obese and I'm not talking about my friends on the show, I'm talking 800lbs and more.  It was gut wrenching to see their struggles and they also showed a rehab center for the morbidly obese, which makes so much sense because I have always said that overeating is an addiction to food.  It was so hard to see people that have lost all hope and that have let go, for whatever reason, but having a rehab center for people that need that support was very uplifting.  It was a powerful show.  I hope you got to see it.

Now onto some personal news.  I have been dealing with a foot injury….UGH!!!  I have what is called a Morton's Neuroma in my left foot and it has been so painful during all of season 7.  I thought it would go away but it didn't so now I have been fitted for orthotics and today I was able to run 6 miles.  I was so happy not to have that pain today.  We will see if they continue to work.

I'm excited that the eliminated contestants are coming back this weekend for a boot camp before the finale which is May 12th.  It is going to be so much fun to see everyone and work them out again.  We have never done this before so I know they are excited and so am I.  Okay, I hope you all have a good and healthy dinner tonight and I will speak to you very soon.  xoxox
