Brown Rice
Always look for ways to incorporate brown rice into your meal plans. Studies show that eating whole grains such as brown rice instead of refined grains lowers the risk of many chronic diseases including Type 2 Diabetes. While benefits are most pronounced for those consuming at least 3 servings daily, some studies show reduced risks from as little as one serving daily. So get on the whole grains and brown rice is a great place to start.
