No finish line here

So I just watched Oprah today and she had a man on that weighed over 1,000lbs lost over 700lbs and GAINED IT ALL BACK!!  My heart broke but to listen to him and his outlook on life made me feel better and what I really got from this is something that I tell people all the time and I’m going to tell you right now…..There is NO FINISH LINE HERE!!!! Calorie burn

Today your Challenge is that you have to do WHATEVER it takes to burn 300 to 500 calories. There are 3500 calories in a pound. Imagine if you burned 500 calories a day for 7 days…that’s one pound. So run, walk, bike, spin, kickbox, or anything else but burn those calories…


Meditation

Your Challenge today is to find 5 minutes out of your day to meditate. You can do it anywhere and the benefits are great. Major stress reliever, lowers blood pressure, improves concentration, and improves blood flow. This is one of my favorite challenges…but don’t forget to do your regular workout today too…xoxo


Burpees

Tuesday’s Challenge… Beginners are gonna give me 50 “Burpees” and advanced people, 100 Burpees. If you don’t know what a burpee is, youtube it. It is a great calorie burner and extremely physical. After your burpees, I want 50 pushups. Good luck, soldiers!!


Walking and Green Tea

New Week!! New Challenges!! I know your legs must be sore but today is a DOUBLE CHALLENGE!! You have to walk for 2 miles AND you have to drink 2 cups of Green Tea. Some great benefits? Helps increase fat loss, helps reduce the risk of cancer, Alzheimer’s, lowers bad cholesterol, and may prevent tooth decay…So get to walking and DRINKING!!


Lunges

Your Weekend Challenge is to do 200 lunges ON EACH LEG!!! Make sure to keep your back up straight, abs in strong, and when you lunge forward, keep the front knee above your foot and your back knee goes almost down to the floor. Your glutes and your legs are gonna be BURNING!!! You’re gonna LOVE IT!!


Crunches

Friday is an Abdominal Challenge. You have all day to give me 300 ab crunches in any variation you want as long as you give me 300. Remember, a strong midsection helps improve posture and helps to strengthen your back so get to work.


Green Week

Here’s your Challenge… As part of Green Week you must do one thing for the environment. Your choice. ANYTHING. Being conscious of the Earth’s needs and her protection for our kids and their future. Recycle. Walk to work. Ride your bike instead of driving. Unplug everything you’re not using in your house. Plant a tree. Come up with something and let me know how creative you got.


Core

Today is a CORE CHALLENGE!! Get on your elbows and toes, elbows below your shoulders, body straight like a push up and HOLD that position. Beginners for 30 seconds, advanced for 1 minute. You have to do this 7 times today!! Keep your abs tight and back flat.


No Sugar

Tuesday’s Challenge… absolutely NO sugar today except from fruit. Check the nutrition facts on your foods and stay away from high fructose corn syrup and any other sugar additives like sucralose. Good luck!
