Incline Walking

For Today’s Challenge you need a Treadmill. INCLINE Walking. Speed at 3.0 to 4.0 mph walking on a 10% incline. Beginners walk for 30 minutes and Advanced go 1 Hour. Changing the incline on your walk will increase your calorie burn significantly.


Abs

I was so proud of everyone last night. They looked amazing! Today’s Challenge is 100 regular sit ups, 100 bicycle leg sit ups, 100 sit ups with legs in the air, and 1 minute holding plank. It’s all about abs today.


Paying it Forward

Happy FINALE DAY!!! It is a big day so I wanted the Challenge to fit with the finale so here it goes. Today your Challenge is to first, help ANYONE in your life start exercising TODAY. Pay it forward. Second, alternating lunges NONSTOP for 5 minutes, 3 times!!


No Fast Food!

Your Weekend Challenge is to go the whole weekend without eating any fast food AND you beginners must walk 5 miles and advanced people walk 10 miles. You have 2 days to get that in. STAY AWAY from the drive thru!!!


Circuit Training

Today is a Circuit Challenge. Do the following exercises for 1 minute at a time… Pushups, Situps, Jumping Jacks, Alternating Lunges, Bicep Curls, & Jumping Jacks again. Beginners do this circuit 5X’s and advanced 10X. Have FUN!!


Low Sodium

Today’s Challenge is I want you to take in no more that 1500 milligrams of Sodium, so start reading all your nutrition facts and add up your Sodium intake. You will find high levels in more processed foods so stay away. Your heart and blood pressure will thank you.


Bicycle

Today you need access to a BICYCLE!!! For the challenge I want you to be on a bike for at least 30 minutes, advanced 1 hour. Spin class, bike to work, stationary bike…whatever you can get your butt on. Cycling is a great calorie burner with no impact on the body so if you run or walk a lot, it will feel great on your joints.


Squat/Overhead Press

Today’s Challenge is combining upper body and lower body movements together to burn more calories. You are doing 100 Squat/Overhead Presses. Holding hand weights, if you have them, do a LOW squat and when you stand up, do a military press. This is a great POWER move.


Yoga

Today’s Challenge is to discover 3 different yoga poses. Downward Dog, Warrior 1, and Triangle Pose. You can find them in my book, Are You Ready! or online. With all the walking/running this weekend it is good to stretch, keep the body flexible, and lower stress and that is exactly what Yoga does…..namaste….xoxo

Weekend Challenge is this….beginners are gonna have to clock in a 3 mile walk and advanced people have to give me 6 miles. It will be a great calorie burn this weekend and if you can run any of it…GREAT!!! Don’t forget to stretch..xoxoxo
