Variation Keeps Your Body on Its Toes

Vary your workouts. The body can get used to doing the same exercises all the time, which can lead to plateaus and boredom. You want to keep your body and mind challenged, so if your cardio workout is always running on the treadmill, try mixing things up by kickboxing or taking a spin class one day a week instead.

Be Careful With Portion SIzes

When having a snack in between meals, pay attention to portion size. If you are snacking on fruits and vegetables, there is really no limit. If you are craving something sweet, try making it easy on yourself by choosing a snack that comes in a single serving size, such as the 100 calorie packs, to prevent you from eating more than one portion.
